Prayer Requests

As God brings these requests to mind we would ask you to add them to your prayer list.  Should God quicken you to do something more then we would humbly ask you to seek what He would have you to do.  God has put a lot of things on our table but He also calls workers to help transition visions into reality.  Just know that we are grateful in more ways than you can imagine and we thank you in advance for your prayers and obedience.

  • Continued health for Elaine and me, that we would have the strength and endurance to serve in this capacity.
  • Protection in Nicaragua – our home was burglarized Thanksgiving weekend and thieves stole ~$10,000 in cash, equipment, and valuables.  We lost a desktop computer, three cameras (that’s the reason for fewer photos), external hard drive, flash drives, TV/DVD, briefcase with documents, jewelry (Elaine’s from her mother as well as jewelry she bought as Christmas presents for school and orphanage), bedding, and other small items.  This is the second time we have been victims of a robbery but the first time it has happened in our home.  It’s made us realize how vulnerable we are and that our security cannot be taken for granted.
  • Replacement of items stolen in burglary.  The information may be gone but I would like and need to replace the items necessary to the ministry.
  • God’s continued favor on Savior’s Tear
  • Confirmation of vocational training vision and funding to not only expand school property but also purchase the necessary items/equipment to begin training.
  • Approval from the Ministry of Education for 11th grade
  • Funds to complete construction (tiling of school floors and covering of insulation in ceilings).  ~$15,000
  • Laptops – The school needs ~5-7 additional laptops in order to open the computer laboratory
